If you’re thinking of becoming a commercial pilot, consider applying for a Class One or Two physical at the initial application. This will ensure you’re able to pass the physical requirements.

Increase the chance of successfully passing the flight physical by:

  • Reviewing any medical problems, you have and find out if you meet the standards
  • Check the FAA Standards
  • Some standards require testing from your treating doctor
  • Bring that information to your appointment to speed up approval time of your flight physical

First Class Airman Medical Certificate

To be eligible and to remain eligible for a First Class airman medical certificate, a person must meet the requirements of this sub-part.

Class II Exam

Second Class Airman Medical Certificate

To be eligible and to remain eligible for a Second Class airman medical certificate, a person must meet the requirements of this sub-part.

Class III Exam

Third Class Airman Medical Certificate
